As a PGE customer, you’re already getting a portion of your energy from renewable sources with your Basic Service. From there, it’s easy to add more renewable energy to your mix (and way more affordable than you might think).
In your PGE account, you’ll find renewable options under Renewable Power. Here you can learn about and enroll in the following clean energy options.
- Green Future Choices (all of the electricity you pay for is 100 percent renewable and generated from wind, solar, biomass and low impact hydro and helps build even more sources of renewable power here in Oregon.)
- Green Future Block (is sold in 200 kilowatt-hour (kWh) blocks for a set, low monthly cost of $1.88 per block. Your purchase supports power from new renewable energy facilities like wind, solar, biomass and low-impact hydro, and helps build even more sources of renewable power here in Oregon.)
- Habitat Support (in addition to whichever renewable option you chose, you can also support local salmon restoration projects for an additional $2.50 per month. This charge goes directly to The Nature Conservancy of Oregon.)
