Scout: Explorer, Leader of the Pack!” šŸš€šŸ¾

Published March 5, 2025

Ladies and gentlemen, pet lovers of Palisadesā€”letā€™s give a big round of a-paws for this monthā€™s four-legged MVPā€¦ SCOUT! šŸ¶šŸ‘

Also known as Scouty Pouty Pumpkin Pie or The Scout Master, this Australian Shepherd arrived in the Palisades neighborhood Spring 2021 as a young rescue, a little unsure but ready for adventure.

And let me tell youā€”after countless walks and even more sniffsā€”Scout has claimed Palisades as his own!

This all-star is serious about his duties: guarding his backyard treasure stash, herding his cat brother Tambourine with expert precision, and ensuring his humans never miss a walk.

But donā€™t be fooledā€”this pup has a playful side too! Heā€™s got wiggle-butts and bunny hops for every guest, and letā€™s not forget his most legendary playā€”the Great Thanksgiving Turkey Leg Heist that caused 6 humans to chase him through the house for a solid 10 mins.

Whether heā€™s swimming, running, hiking, or soaking up belly rubs, Scout is always on the moveā€”unless itā€™s a rainy day, in which case, youā€™ll find him couch-snuggled and cozy with his humans. One thingā€™s for sureā€”Scout is an explorer at heart and never turns down a walk!

šŸ…šŸ• Give it up for Scout, the Palisades Pet of the Month! šŸ•šŸ…
