At its October 2025 meeting, the Palisades Neighborhood Association (PNA) Board voted to endorse Lake Oswego School District’s Measure 3-628, a proposed $245 million bond appearing on the upcoming ballot. 📚

The measure is designed to fund important safety and facility improvements across district schools, including upgraded fire alarms, secured doors, seismic reinforcements, and repairs to critical building systems. It also supports expanded career and technical learning spaces to better prepare students for future opportunities. ✏️

In advance of the vote, the PNA Board hosted representatives from the Lake Oswego School District at multiple neighborhood meetings. These sessions provided residents with information about the bond’s goals, funding details, and anticipated community impacts, as well as an opportunity to share feedback and ask questions. 🎒
The PNA’s endorsement reflects a commitment to supporting safe, resilient, and forward-looking learning environments for Lake Oswego students. 🏫
Ballots are due by 8pm on Tuesday November 4, 2025. For more information about Measure 3-628, click here.
