Since early November, Public Works staff have been implementing the go sLOw speed reduction program, lowering speed limits on local streets and neighborhood collectors to 20 mph. Phase 1 is now complete and included replacing approximately 200 existing 25 mph signs with new 20 mph signs.

Phase 2 will involve installing new sign posts and additional signage. This work is expected to begin in the coming months and continue through 2026.
New speed limits take effect as soon as signage is updated. The City is notifying neighborhood associations as signs are changed during each phase.
