February is American Heart Month, a time to focus on heart health and learn simple skills that can truly save lives. The Lake Oswego Fire Department is offering free Hands-Only CPR classes open to the public, designed to give community members the confidence to act during a cardiac emergency. No registration necessary to participate.

These hands-on classes teach participants how to recognize the signs of cardiac arrest and
perform effective chest compressions. No prior training or experience is required, and the
instruction is suitable for adults and teens.
