Are you looking to get involved in the community? If so, the Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation is looking for volunteers to serve on the Community Advisory Committee for the Parks Plan 2040 project. The best way to affect change is to elect City Council members that reflect neighborhood values. The second most effective way is volunteering for, and voicing opinions, at City Advisory Boards and Committees.
To apply, please visit the Lake Oswego website at http://www.lakeoswego.city/parks-plan-2040 to submit your application form. Applications are open now, and will be closing September 15 at 5PM.
Parks Plan 2040 is a long-range comprehensive system plan that will guide how the City provides parks, recreation opportunities, natural areas, and human services to the Lake Oswego community through 2040. Community Advisory Committee members will meet up to seven times over the next 18 months to provide input and advise the project team on key deliverables such as goals, needs, future projects, and implementation strategies.
